Core Rules of Pickleball
Governed by USA Pickleball. Best 2-of-3 games to 11, win by 2.
  • Only the serving team scores a point
  • Underhand serve below waist level required
  • Two-Bounce Rule: ball must bounce once each side before volleying
  • Kitchen (NVZ): 7 feet from net — no volleying while inside
  • Momentum carrying you in after a volley = fault
  • Line balls are IN except NVZ line on service
  • Doubles: both partners serve before side-out (except 1st serve)
